How many crypto scams do you know?

Scammers are getting really enterprising these days. Woke up this morning to find myself tagged on a thread about SHIB airdrop, along with two other names. Thankfully employed common sense and didn’t click on any click because this would mean draining my wallet of its assets. Then, I read about the zero transfer scam, in which the scammers actually transfer zero tokens from your wallet on the EVM chain. Since this pseudo transfer is recorded as a transaction, apparently, they hope that you will mistakenly use their address and send them money.

It’s impossible to know about all the scams, so common sense prevails here. Never click any links when in doubt, use a throwaway email address and laptop just for crypto transactions, be sure to use only the official websites for transactions. Still, knowing the myriad methods and techniques of these scammers may hone our spidery senses. What’s one relatively less known scam you think more people should be mindful of?
