Since October 2019 some NGOs such as unicef accept the intention of donating cryptocurrencies, mainly in Bitcoin and ether, through Expressions of Interest (EOI) and by firms that can guard these funds, for the realization of these innovation funds, during this year a series of forms for such processing.

Others such as the Red Cross have already accepted donations for the fight against covid-19 at their headquarters in Italy and the Netherlands.   It is a fantastic idea for these NGOs that they can raise money through these donations and help those most in need and all those who are in social exclusion as well as the sick.   It is hoped that very soon many more NGOs will accept this means of donation that will benefit both society and the development of the blockchain, defi and decentralization.

In some countries like Australia the donation of cryptocurrencies to NGOs is being promoted, especially bitcoin, the same happens in North America and Europe, important international NGOs are promoting a connection between blockchain technology so that human rights that are not fulfilled in certain countries can intervene with these funds helped by this technology.

Due to the acceleration of cryptocurrencies both in terms of modalities and rates, NGOs are taking advantage of it to promote smart contracts, defi, and that the legality of cryptocurrencies is present in most countries.

Therefore it is understood that cryptocurrencies are playing a fundamental role in humanitarian aid, for the development of aid against poverty, the underprivileged, human diseases and human rights.   Since the NGOs incorporated the use of cryptocurrencies as donations, they have not stopped sending them free of charge, which is why it is understood that they are playing a fundamental role for the development of the same, in addition to their use as investment and As a bargaining chip or for online shopping, these humanitarian causes will help to create a better and fairer world.
