[ENGLISH VERSION]
What are the Lands in Splinterlands?
For Splinterlands, the Lands, more than adding more complexity to the game, will be of extreme importance for the next phase of this Web3 Game. The idea of the future of the Lands in the game is to generate the resources necessary to craft the new items that will bring a new level to Splinterlands, which are the skills and items. Currently, battles are done automatically, considering only the status and abilities of the cards, but in the future there will be much more complexity and changes may occur in the middle of the battle.

This idea of adding more layers to the game has already been implemented in other web3 games. In Mir4 and Night Crows, both MMORPGs from Wemade, they sought to add more tokens to craft their items, encouraging players to continue evolving in the game to achieve new equipment and skills. The same thing will happen to Splinterlands, requiring more resources to continue progressing and increasing the possibilities of the game makes it a little more difficult for players, but increases the complexity of automated alternatives.
Unforeseen Issues in the Land Update
On February 11th, the progress of the update by CryptoMancer was announced on the official Splinterlands networks. Due to some unforeseen issues with the Hive Engine, progress was somewhat hampered since CryptoMancer, one of the main Devs, had to deal with some problems. Fixing the Hive-Engine issues is crucial because that's where Splinterlands' resources are traded. However, developments have continued and on the 18th we'll have the big update in Lands 1.75! ---
Lands Update - 1.75

Among the new features we will have the addition of new resources such as Wood, Stone and Iron, and now you will need these new resources to harvest, making all of them important. Of these resources, Grain produces 0.02 more per hour while the others generate less, but are still necessary. Along with the new resources, we will have new Liquidity Pools with DEC, allowing players to exchange the resources they have for those they lack. With this addition, in addition to the resources, players will be able to receive fees from the pools.

In addition to the resources and Pools, we will have improvements in the gameplay and UI of the Lands, making management faster, such as new filters on the map.
Lands Market
Currently, when searching the Peamonsters marketplace, you can find lands starting at $12 with Grain Farm. This shows that it is possible to start in this segment of lands with a little over $10. If you look for some lands with higher rarity, there are: Rare ($18); Epic ($70); Legendary ($200).
In addition to the lands, another very important item are the totems that grant bonuses in the production of resources. The common one is $8.45; Rare $69; Epic $300 and Legendary $1750. Thus, the importance seems to be almost at the same level as the land itself with prices close to and sometimes well above, because there are not many listed in the greatest rarity.
