Many people may not know this, so it's worth remembering that the Web3 TCG Game Splinterlands is currently controlled by SPS DAO, while the company behind the development of Splinterlands takes care of some parts and provides services such as the recent release of the new Conclave Arcana set for DAO. On this subject, it's interesting to analyze the Proposal made for the development of Conclave Arcana and its results so far. Also, at the end, a way to have the chance to get cards from the new set for free by participating in events will be discussed. Come and find out! #conclavearcana
I'll be much appreaciated if you Upvote, Reblogs or give any Tips ( PIZZA 🍕, PGM 🎮, LOLZ 😆, ALIVE ❤️, etc ). Thanks and have good reading! 🍀
[ENGLISH VERSION]
Best SPS Dao Proposal So Far?
The Proposal that hired the team responsible for Splinterlands to develop the Conclave Arcana set was made on October 29, 2024, which is almost 1 year ago. In it, the SPS DAO paid 600M DEC from the treasury, which was worth $492K, that is, it significantly lowered the DEC PEG from 1000 to $1, and today, with the launch of the Arcana Conclave and the news, we have DEC back at PEG, which is already good for the DAO, but benefits all players who also have assets related to DEC.
Well, after the proposal was made, we could only believe that everything would go well, but at first it was a risk that the DAO would take, because even knowing that past sales were a success, the scenario changes and as they always say, “past profitability is no guarantee of future profitability”. The good thing is that everything actually ended up working out, with SPS DAO earning 1.4B DEC in revenue from Conclave Arcana sales to date, with the DEC being worth much more than when it paid the Splinterlands Company, since these DEC are worth $1.4M, that is, they made almost 3x the value, remembering that half still went to the Splinterlands company, allowing it to cover the operating costs involved and remain in the market.
The 50/50 revenue split from sales has greatly strengthened the DAO treasury and kept the Splinterlands team alive in a market where many games are closing their doors. It is also worth remembering that even with a total profit of $1.9M from the creation of the set, there is still plenty of time for players to continue accumulating Conclave Arcana packs and cards. In short, this may have been one of the best proposals ever made by the Splinterlands DAO, in terms of profit for the game.
How to Get a Free Conclave Arcana Pack?
In the last Splinterlands content, the Anniversary Challenge was discussed, and I even mentioned that even if the event had already ended, it would be interesting to learn the step-by-step process because on the official Splinterlands account on X, some giveaways were happening from time to time. So, speaking about Conclave Arcana, recently on Splinterlands X a “Giveaway Time” of the Conclave Arcana collection itself was announced, being an opportunity for players to get some cards from the new Conclave Arcana collection by participating in this simple giveaway.
To participate, it's very simple. Just comment on the Splinterlands Giveaway Time post and tell us what your favorite card from the new Arcana Conclave set is so far, the card you've been using the most and having fun playing, and tell us why, whether it's because you have a great combo with this card, or this was one of the first cards you got from this new set, or simply because you liked the art. In addition, in the comment you would also need to include a link to the battle with this card being used in a duel, tag a friend to play Splinterlands and repost the post. Once this is done, the comments with the most likes will win 2x Conclave Arcana Alchemy Packs, but even if you don't have many likes you can be one of the 5 randomly chosen to win a Standard Pack.
It may seem like a small chance to win a Pack, but one of the participants of the Lucky 7s Challenge won a Conclave Arcana pack and when he opened it he realized that his pack would be more than special, because he got a Black Foil Arcane from Umbral Elemental being 1 of only 5 cards of this rarity. According to the Splinterlands post this card could be worth over $2000 for its stats and rarity.
