Splinterlands has some events, one of them being the social media challenge, in which the player shares with the community some curiosity or something interesting. This week, since I had accumulated a good amount of Glint, I decided to share it with the Splinterlands gang, which I decided to buy in the Glint Shop. Come check out the tips and the items that were acquired!
I'll be much appreaciated if you Upvote, Reblogs or give any Tips ( PIZZA 🍕, PGM 🎮, LOLZ 😆, ALIVE ❤️, etc ). Thanks and have good reading! 🍀

Splinterlands - Glint Shop Strategy

A good idea is to initially, before buying anything in the Glint Shop, look at your collection of “Rebellion Rewards” cards, see which cards are missing and which are about to evolve to the next level. In my case, since I didn't have any legendary cards from this set yet, I decided to get a Legendary Draw, since there wouldn't be the risk of getting a duplicate like with the Epics, which only have one or two missing.
Among the legendary options, I would like to get one of the 1 mana cost cards, because they are easier to add to any Team composition. However, I would also be satisfied with Chaos BattleMage, which has artwork and a name similar to the BattleMage that are like the users of Splinterlands, not to mention that it is a neutral card, so it can be used with any element.

In the Legendary Draw, I got a card called Frigid Wolf. It is one of the cards that has a cost of 1 mana, which allows it to be used in games where the amount of mana is limited. Furthermore, even though it is melee, it is possible to attack from any position due to its ability, which makes it attack the opponent's first monster, which makes it more useful than other 1-cost cards, which cannot attack normally. I think it was a great addition to my Light deck.
Glint Shop x Draws

In addition to the Legendary Draw, I decided to get 20x Rare Draws to level up some cards to level 2, which are: Dark Aborist, Dragon Egg Forager, Janni Rebel, Skyspire Leopard, Quilliun Legionary. After opening all the packs, I was lucky enough to finally level up all these cards to LVL2, except for the dragon card.
Dark Aborist and Janni Rebel gained +1 HP to their stats. Skyspire Leopard gained a new skill, which is retaliation, when an opponent attacks him, there is a chance he will attack back. In the case of the Quilliun Legionary, he received the Thorns ability, which is very powerful against melee opponents, since it returns 2 damage every time he suffers this type of attack.

With what was left of Glint I decided to try my luck with the chests, I got an Ultimate chest, 2x Major Chest and 3x Minor Chest. It came respectively, 8x Hobgoblin, potion and merits and in the Minor chests came a Commander Slade (RARE) Gold Foil
Gladius Cases x Merits

In addition to the Draws, I always like to get the 2000 merits in the store to complete the amount I I already have to earn merits and get more Gladius Cases, with the goal of leveling up my Gladius collection cards. This time, I had 5900 merits and I got a little more from the Glint Shop (+2200 merits), which allowed me to get a total of 4x Gladius Cases, since each one costs 2000 Merit Tokens.
Unfortunately, it didn't work out that well, because the cards that came were all common or rare, there weren't any epics or even legendary ones. But that's how it is, sometimes you get lucky and other times you get below average, the important thing is to be exposed to luck.
