In this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge, we'll be reviewing two new cards, each in a different category. Ulfga The Blighted will be the first card reviewed, and it recently arrived in the Splinterlands Exclusive Shop, where it can only be purchased with a Voucher. Surly Drunk was my second legendary that I got from the Glint Shop, so it's a new card in my collection. Come and find out a little more about these two “new” cards!
I'll be much appreaciated if you Upvote, Reblogs or give any Tips ( PIZZA 🍕, PGM 🎮, LOLZ 😆, ALIVE ❤️, etc ). Thanks and have good reading! 🍀
[ENGLISH VERSION]
Ulfga The Blighted - Legendary Voucher Card
The first card we're going to look at is Ulfga The Blighted. This card was added to the Splinterlands Exclusive Shop on December 10th if I'm not mistaken. To find this store, go to the Shop tab on the top right-hand side, then select Exclusive and you will arrive at Lyra & Lorn’s, a store with exclusive items for those who have Vouchers, making the Token very useful, which is now linked to the account and encouraging players to stake more SPS, since this is one of the only ways to earn Vouchers in Splinterlands.
Ulfga The Blighted is being sold for 1500 Voucher tokens, and is the only card currently sold at Lyra & Lorn’s. For every 25 cards you acquire, you are guaranteed a Gold Foil. However, this amount of Vouchers is quite large, after all, this is a legendary card of the dragon element, which makes it much more flexible than others of a single basic element. I think it would be better if there was a rotation of two cards, one more premium and one more basic, but that would also be more work for the team.
Let's now delve into the stats and abilities of this card. Ulfga The Blighted has no attack and also cannot be used with weapons training, due to the Untrainable ability. This makes this card geared towards support, granting -1 speed to enemies with its Slow ability and causing damage with the Poison Burst ability upon death, which causes the attacker to receive poison with a 100% chance and its adjacent players to have a 50% chance of receiving poison as well.
Now for high-level Splinterlands players, the card gains the Weaken ability at level 3, which removes -1 Max HP from enemies, and at level 4, it gains Rebirth, causing it to return and have a chance to cause Poison again.
Surly Drunk - Rebellion Legendary
I used Glint to get a Legendary Draw at the beginning of this season and with that I ended up getting my second legendary from the Rebellion collection in the Glint Shop, Surly Drunk. For those who want to improve their collection, Draws can end up being a more guaranteed option to get the card that is missing in your collection, instead of depending on the luck of the Loot Chests.
Surly Drunk is a legendary fire-elemental card that already has the opportunist ability at level 1, which makes it attack the opponent's card with the least amount of HP. Its stats are 1 melee attack, 2 speed and 2 HP.
The interesting thing is to use it together with Tarsa to gain +1 melee attack and +1 HP, making it a card with 2 attack with opportunist with only 1 mana, and the extra HP makes it more resistant. With this bonus, it ends up being a great addition to the sneak card combo that the fire team specializes in.
