Since the Golden Age ROM has just arrived, everyone is constantly discovering new features or new things that help improve their character's power. In the previous content, we covered the Item Collection, Costumes, and Guardians. Now, let's explore two new ways to increase your character's power! Equipment, Enchanting, and Engravings
The first tip to improve your character's power is precisely the simplest: getting increasingly better equipment. In this crypto game, I believe all players have already realized that crafting equipment is extremely difficult. However, each time you complete quests and events, you earn a Basic Chest, which has a good chance of getting Rare equipment (3%) and a low chance (0.05%) of getting Epic equipment.
So, your goal is to accumulate as many chests as possible and get your full Rare gear, and hopefully some Epic gear. Also, after getting at least Rare gear, it's a good idea to level it up to +7 using the trinkets on your armor and main weapon. If you have a spare item of the same rarity, you can try leveling it up, like +8, but remember that there's a chance the item will fail and break.
Finally, it's a good idea to add at least one attribute to your item using an engraving stone. As I mentioned earlier, one of the best stats is MP Recovery 1 or Accuracy. However, since the game doesn't initially provide many of these stones, it's not worth trying to get a better stat more than once, as you might end up running out of them when other, better items become available.
Monster Book x Status
Similar to the Item Collection, the ROM Golden Age also has the Monster Book. Each monster has a set of abilities, generally the rarer the monster, the higher the rarity. Completing many records of different monsters is one of the best ways to gain a lot of status. Furthermore, the more you record, the more progress you gain, earning bonus statuses on the right and some items.
But if you caught a monster and its ability ended up being Common or Uncommon, don't worry, because if you have a duplicate monster, you can choose to Re-Enroll it by paying 10,000 coins and spending the monster fragment to change its status. It's a good idea to Re-Roll monsters with good abilities that are still Common, because anything that comes along tends to be better than what's already there.
However, by choosing to reroll, you end up losing a fragment that could be used in Synthesis to obtain another monster you don't yet have at the same rarity or a higher rarity. Therefore, it's important to carefully consider whether you'd prefer to collect it for synthesis or try your luck at improving the stat.
