What is Pirate Nation?

Pirate Nation is an NFT card game where players use a pirate ship and their DECK of cards to win in turn-based RPG battles. The game is currently available on the Ethereum, Arbitrum networks and is coming to Ronin. You don't need to worry about having very powerful hardware, because Pirate Nation works through the browser of browsers.

The game was developed by the company Proof of Play, which according to them has developers from major studios such as Riot Games, Blizzard and Google. In March, there will be a pool of $12,000 in $Pirate tokens for content creators who post and generate engagement for the game, with $3,000 in $PIRATE distributed per week. Rewards will be distributed in two ways. The first part with the value of $2500 will be for the Top 4 creators evaluated according to the quality of the post, impressions and recruitment, the division will be $1000 (1), $750 (2), $500 (3) and $250 (4). Thus, it is clear that they want to encourage creators to compete with each other to be in the Top 4.

The remaining $500 to complete the $3000 will be distributed randomly among 5 creators, that is, each one will receive $100 in $PIRATE tokens. Overall, it doesn't seem like a great reward system, since only 9 people will be chosen each week. I believe that it could be more interesting to even attract more creators by expanding the number of creators awarded, perhaps by reducing the prize for the Top 4 and adding more prizes for random ones.
