The Boot Camp server has been opened on Night Crows and will be available to players between March 11th and June 3rd, so they can make the most of it by creating a new account with all the benefits of a development server. This is the same as what happened with Mir4 a few months ago, where they made a server available so that new players could join the game and get closer to veterans. But is it worth participating in Boot Camp? Was the launch made at a good time? Let's find out!
I'll be much appreaciated if you Upvote, Reblogs or give any Tips ( PIZZA 🍕, PGM 🎮, LOLZ 😆, ALIVE ❤️, etc ). Thanks and have good reading! 🍀
[ENGLISH VERSION]
Boot Camp Server
This server was created to attract mainly new players, but also caters to veteran Night Crows players. During the event period there will be a series of benefits such as bonuses to XP, Gold and Weapon Mastery and many events with very good items to make progress faster. The goal is to get the player to reach level 55 and then choose a server to go to.
If you are interested in participating in Night Crows or are looking to test out the new class or would like to make a new account, this is a great time to start because you will receive event items and make significant progress in a short period of time.
Was this the right time? Rapier X 1st Anniversary x Wemix
Let's start by understanding the context in which the “Boot Camp” development server was launched. We have a series of new features in Night Crows, the first of which is the addition of a new class to the game, the Rapier, which is a melee class that has some debuff effects against its opponents. Usually when there is a change in the mechanics of a class, the game makes tokens available so that players can change classes, and the same happened with the addition of the Rapier.
Along with this possibility of changing classes, many players may not like the idea of changing classes, but would like to try out this new class with unique mechanics. Therefore, the Boot Camp server can be one of the best places for this, since there is an incentive for players to evolve during the period, allowing them to try out the new class and evolve quickly.
However, there is a second, perhaps more significant event, which is the Night Crows 1st Anniversary celebration events, which are happening in parallel with the new Boot Camp server events. I believe that this combination may make sense in terms of generating the maximum number of active players, but it ends up creating a problem.
Unlike Mir4's Boot Camp server, which arrived long after the game's release, this server arrived very early on Night Crows Global, since most players don't even have Epic items. This could create competition between servers for players, since instead of focusing on the anniversary events, many are focused on evolving a character on the boot camp server, causing the main server to have a reduction in the number of players during the game's one-year anniversary. They could have perhaps divided these major events into different periods to avoid this division.
In addition to these two events that are happening internally at Night Crows, there was a terrible incident that affected the network where the game is located, which is Wemix. According to a report by Chosun, wemix was hacked for $9 million dollars. This generates distrust among players and also among the exchanges themselves, but considering the company behind the game and the blockchain network, this demonstrates a flaw in the system, but in terms of revenue, considering that Night Crows alone brought $140M to the company, it was not such a big impact.
But combining this with the recent drop in Bitcoin, the impact on Wemix and Night Crows tokens was huge, leading to a big drop. Before the incident, the game's main token, Crow, was worth $0.55 according to the Coingecko chart, and after the incident, the token has been falling steadily, now below $0.40
