LIQUID EXCHANGE – AIRDROP SCAM OR LEGIT?

LIQUID EXCHANGE – AIRDROP SCAM OR LEGIT?

Firstly let me start off by saying I love Publish0x – and the information I have gleaned from this website has been invaluable and has given me a far greater and in-depth knowledge of everything crypto. Furthermore, it has broadened my investment portfolio and alerted me to worthwhile investment opportunities and strategies. As a member of this friendly and helpful community I though I should share some information on the  5000 Hydro Airdrop which I was alerted to  by an article that was published on the 21st of August 2019 – link below

As an avid Crypto maniac I immediately signed up and did my KYC – if you scroll down the comments section you will see loads of enthusiast followed suit. Millermine user – had it spot on KYC is a joke for airdrops as it defeats the purpose of Crypto in the first place – i.e. anonymity. Also, in my research some user flagged up that KYC for 5000 Hydro is too little as you are giving up your identity for a very small return. Well I ignored all these clever people – signed up using the link provided – went through the KYC and got verified all on the same day- eager to receive my Hydro tokens.

Following form this I received various emails from Liquid Exchange telling me to make sure I have done KYC and that I need to ensure I do it before the cut-off date to qualify. I got in contact asap and  sorted it out stating that I had verified on the very first day – being the eager beaver that I am. The team quickly clarified and confirmed that my account was indeed ok verified  and that I will be receiving the airdrop. I was impressed to the quick responses and helpful team at Liquid.

Fast forward to November – No Airdrop – so I got in touch with the team there – and was told that I failed to use the correct affiliate link -  https//www.liquid.com?affiliate=Yuq-IJKY60674 – You will note it’s the same one in the article above. SO I email them back stating that there must be some mistake on their part – as I definitely used the link – I even sent them the link to the article published and screenshots of the comments and the link quoted. They were very polite and said they would investigate in full – they later responded stating that I used the wrong link and therefore I did not qualify. I then kindly requested that they send me the link I supposedly used – and as you guessed it the silence was deafening.

As stated above I decided to write this article to alert my fellow Publish0x users – to be careful of this exchange – perhaps you were lucky enough to get your airdrop – or maybe you were in the same boat -either way they have a lot of users  KYC detail – and not sure if they honoured their commitments to all of the people that signed up.

Once again, I did not follow the golden rule of crypto – IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE – IT PROBABLY IS – avoid and run for the hills . Would be great if others could let me know if they too fell victim to this or if they managed to receive their Hydro.

But to end off on a positive side – I have signed up to a legitimate faucet where you can earn some free Horizon (ZEN) tokens – its paid directly to your wallet after each claim – so its 100% legit – only requirement is that you have a Gmail email account – you can obtain a Horizen address from Coinami or use some of the suggestions on the website to start claiming – many thanks for reading and please use link below to help me out if you don’t mind.   Thanks
