Impervious released its version to the general public on October 19, following months of work following the debut of its closed beta version, as reported by CriptoNoticias. It supports both Linux and MacOS as operating systems (the Windows version will coming shortly).

This version of Impervious includes online documents, a messaging app (with features similar to those of WhatsApp or Telegram), file storage, and a native Bitcoin wallet that supports payments through the Lightning Network. Video calling applications (on the model of Zoom) are also included.
Every application on this platform has end-to-end encryption for privacy protection, as is highlighted in the launch announcement. This proves that there are no "centralized intermediaries for collecting and selling data."

The Imperious Browser represents a watershed moment signaling a directional shift to return power to the individual on the internet—a bright future where the user is no longer the product, but the beneficiary of the internet’s promise. Chase Perkins CEO de Impervious Technologies Inc.
