The SEC extorts Poloniex for $10MM for listing "unregistered securities." Hester Peirce, SEC commissioner, comes out a day later blasting the SEC for the extortion.

What the fuck?

I don't know why the digital normies would prefer this kind of unprofessional obsolescence to a transparent smart contract governing finance, but some still do.

First of all, why the bitch spells her name "Peirce" is beyond me. That's just a rebellion without a cause.

Second, this bitch is supposed to be the head bitch. But it seems as if she doesn't even know what her fuckin lapdogs are doing. And you'll have fucking idiots like CryptosRUs and Digital Asset News demanding these morons provide "clarity" so that "crypto can move forward."

News flash, dumbfucks. Crypto is moving forward just fine without any of this sideline drama. It's only important because these childish regulators will eventually move their way into stopping real innovation if they aren't brought to heel now. Labeling a company as a "seller of unregistered securities" and extorting them to then just allow the exact same behavior protects no one. It provides no "clarity." It does one thing — expands the coffers of the SEC.

Poloniex isn't even important to people in the crypto space today. Exchanges created subsequent to Poloniex have outpaced every facet of Poloniex. Poloniex is only important to regulators because it's a honeypot of low-hanging fruit that's easy to pluck. And this nonsense just shows how pointless any outside regulation, especially from the bumbling United States, would be if allowed over any part of crypto.
