All the idiotic lemmings bloviating about the #ETHMerge/PoS superiority almost makes you forget where they got their dumbass little reductionist attitude from — the BTC maxis. BTC maxis are the original horse-blinders-on full-speed ahead brick-for-brains dipshits who taught everyone how to bloviate. It's only right we revisit their fucking slowness so that nobody forgets just how retarded all this maxi shit is.
And before you go to your built-in argument, maxi, understand this: I own a lot of bitcoin and I believe in the tech. I'm also well-informed. You can't tell me shit about how BTC is better as if ignorance of the advantages is why I'm flogging you right now. No, I actually understand bitcoin. It's YOU that's the problem.
There are no stats on this. But I will bet my entire altcoin portfolio that the fuckin jackoffs who yell about bitcoin all day and night have either
1. obtained life changing wealth through bitcoin, or
2. were so well-off before they didn't need to obtain life changing wealth.
I'll guess that 99% of bitcoin maxis are financially free. And here's the thing — they've lost just as much touch with the rest of the world as the Illuminati elites they were originally haranguing.
You twits, it's super easy to say "choose bitcoin" if you chose it back in 2009 when it was less than a penny or some shit. The situation's changed, fuckhead. Choosing bitcoin today doesn't change someone's financial situation instantly. You flippin fags got like a 100000X. If the average person "chooses bitcoin" today and gets what most people think will happen, a jump from like $20K to $100K — that's not life-changing. It's awesome; it's not life-changing.
Where did the next generation of fortunate crypto aficionados get their 100000X from if they missed bitcoin? From ether. If they missed ether? Possibly defi. If they missed defi? Likely NFTs. And each of these groups tends to shill the thing that made them rich. Even though that thing will no longer make the current generation rich. The current generation has to find the NEXT big thing.
BTC Does NOT Equal Financial Freedom Now.
Bitcoin does not provide financial freedom unless it is bought at scale. With Saylor hoarding all the BTC he can, it becomes that much more difficult for the average person to purchase BTC at a low price. So this BTC brickhead bullshit about changing people's lives while simultaneously cheering on a hoarding mentality — that's just hypocritical at the highest level. It makes NO sense.
You Only THINK You Know More.
And guess what, maxi. Anyone who hasn't achieved financial freedom doesn't have time to wax philosophical about all of the benefits bitcoin tech will bring in the future. They have to go to work in the morning. They have to worry about bills. They may even be a forced seller of BTC at some point because they have some life emergency or a bill to pay. You DO understand that don't you? In bear markets, most people aren't selling because they lost belief in the tech or didn't understand it in the first place. Bear markets come from FORCED sales. That means FORCE — that is, regardless of what someone believes, they HAVE to sell something because there is a more pressing need somewhere else.
This point bears repeating. At this point, people who know bitcoin understand its basic tenets and advantages. You're not informing anyone of anything they don't already know. So stop thinking that you are. People are "awake." They know what the Fed is doing. The question you should be asking yourself is how are you going to help bring about this future Utopia you say will exist once everybody gets woke about bitcoin?
What if everybody's woke, but they just can't afford BTC because you and Michael Saylor are hoarding all of it? Dumbass?
So get off your fucking high horse, bitch. The CORRECT answer, objectively, is choice. Understand? Not PoW, not PoS — CHOICE. As long as everyone has a legitimate choice to use, and more importantly, to CREATE whatever system they want, then crypto wins and accomplishes its goal.
CHOICE, dumbass. And you can't have choice wishing the death of any system.
