Good day everyone,
I hope you are all having a good day, welcome to CryptoGod-1's blog on all things crypto. In this post I will be looking at the recent news of Logan Paul taking legal action against Stephen Findeisen, a popular YouTuber known as Coffeezilla.
Logan Paul vs Coffeezilla
The social media influencer Logan Paul has taken legal action against the YouTuber Stephen Findeisen, known as CoffeeZilla. The lawsuit from Paul is centred on a defamation claim against Findeisen over CryptoZoo videos. The lawsuit, filed on June 27 in a San Antonio, Texas District Court, stems from videos Findeisen produced about Paul’s failed CryptoZoo non-fungible token (NFT) project in 2022.
It is alleged in the lawsuit that Findeisen “maliciously and repeatedly published false statements accusing Paul of operating a scam in connection with a troubled blockchain project called CryptoZoo.” It is claimed that Coffeezilla used false statements to accuse Paul of pioneering a scam NFT project which later failed.
The lawsuit also states that Findeisen explained CryptoZoo as “Logan Paul’s biggest scam” in his video and that he also accused Paul of misleading investors and his supporters by never fulfilling any of the project’s promises while also keeping the money for himself. The lawsuit also notes how Coffeezilla purposefully omitted vital information about Paul’s activities in his videos, noting that Coffeezilla did not note how the plaintiff maintained that he showed commitment to the success of CryptoZoo.
Back in late 2022, Coffeezilla began the release of three YouTube videos labelling CryptoZoo as “Logan Paul’s biggest scam.” Previously I wrote articles on each and links to the videos, which can be found here:

Paul noted that bad advisors like Eduardo “Eddie” Ibanez, and Jake Greenbaum, misled him, resulting in the decline of the project. The filing explains that Paul was deceived by several trusted advisers who ultimately turned out to be conmen.
“Findeisen knew full well that Paul had never set out to scam anybody, but to the contrary had always intended to build a legitimate blockchain-based game for participants to enjoy with a like-minded community.”
Paul noted how the likes of Ibanez was a swindler but had fronted himself with fake credentials. He also noted Greenbaum, who he stated had given him bad advice while coveting personal profits. Paul blamed the duo for CryptoZoo’s fall.
The lawsuit goes on to state that Paul intends to hold Findeisen accountable for his defamation acts and hold the defendant liable for the huge damage his videos caused to Paul’s reputation. Paul had initiated a refund scheme to the tune of $1.5 million, which he personally spent to repurchase the NFTs between January and March of this year.
With the filing Paul is seeking damages exceeding $75,000, along with interest, lawyer fees, and additional damages and relief to be determined by the court.
Have a great day.
Peace. CryptoGod-1.
