Generals and the Last Wars

Generals and the Last Wars

By Jelly Fish | cryptofun | 3 Dec 2020

Recently I remembered a nice English saying: Generals are always prepared for the last war. The saying implies that the next war might be so different from the last, that all preparations will become irrelevant.

Actually, I'm talking about making money with crypto. Today Bitcoin is on the rise, and I believe today we're about half-way to the new ATH, and the alts will probably follow BTC. However, at the end of the day, the big guys will open big shorts and start dumping their stacks, triggering stops and causing liquidations and panic sell-offs among little shrimps, all of it will be followed by the new Ice Age...

Anyway, if BTC will reach $200K, how much we can earn on BTC then? "Only" about 10x or a bit more. However, I'd like to have 50x or even 100x, and preferably irrespective of the big guy's games. Sounds impossible, yeah?

Well, actually it's much more possible than to have 100x or even 10x on BTC. Moreover, it's pretty simple -- just find a shitcoin that will pump 100x, like from $0.01 to $1. We've already seen this phenomenon during ICO hype, DeFi hype, NFT hype and others. Yup, I'm talking about gem hunting, a Buffet-style hodling based on "fundamental" research.

I put "fundamental" in quotes because you actually don't need to read accounting reports and evaluate sales volumes, EBITDAs, NPVs, Black-Sholes, and other boring math. It's necessary to find an idea of something the "institutions" will want to pour shitloads of money in. Or alternatively, an idea of something the dozens of millions of people will want to pay at least a penny for. Simple -- but not easy...

The idea must probably be a completely new one. You can hardly make 100x with shitcoins ICOs anymore. You can hardly make 100x with DeFi-ish "liquidity mining" ponzies, even with YFI or Keep3r (which strangely reminds me about Fatal1ty). Banks will hardly pour billions into NFTs or Axie Infinities. Most people are quite happy with Google Drive or iCloud, and will hardly pay for Storj or Filecoin. The new idea and its project is probably not featured on Cointelegraph yet. It might be not at Coingecko yet, not traded anywhere, no memez contests or shitdrop campaigns in Telegram. But I think such an idea already exists.

Unfortunately, I can't tell you what it is, simply because I myself don't know it yet. Digital identities, decentralized internet servers? Although I'm kinda dumb for such kind of research, I try to regularly read news about freshly emerged crypto projects. I don't want to miss my BTC again...
