ESBC: a Long Term Hodl Best Inwastement

By Jelly Fish | cryptofun | 29 Jan 2020

A red-hot poker will burn you if you hold it too long.

Lewis Carrol, "Alice in Wonderland"

In the beginning, ESBC looked like a promising altcoin. An eSports Betting Coin, after all.

The idea was brilliantly simple: esports gamblers will use the coin to make bets maintaining a steady demand. The owners of 4-tier masternodes will maintain a steady supply. Everyone is happy!

I could even find here some year-old articles about the coin, this one or that one. When I read them they sound somehow strangely familiar to me. A deja-vu attack, probably.

However, after a year something went wrong with ESBC... Look at the charts below -- doesn't it look like the coin is heading to zero?

The coin is about 50% down from its YTD prices. That is, today the coin needs about 100% gain to reach the last year's price. Well, it happens in crypo, I hope it will happen here again if I hold the coin too long enough.

What is wrong with the coin? Actually, I don't know. Probably, brilliant betting plans couldn't take off meanwhile masternode guys successfully flooded the exchanges.

I don't mean that ESBC is the worst altcoin ever. No, it's a typical altcoin. 90% of altcoins behave in a similar way.

A best long term hodl inwastement, huh...
