Sony group is one of the known group from the Japan. And they are behind one of the strong products like Sony's devices, entertainment companies, IP and the content. All of that is part of the Sony Block Solutions. So the blockchain and the web3 is something I have noticed that they were lacking into. They started moving some of the IP games moving into the token etc. But the chain of their own was something they wanted from their own brand.

Another thing is that this chain is being created using the Optimism stack. And the optimism stack has the superchain system which is being used for the layer 2 creation. And they happen to made it possible with all the features of speed, low fees and also scalability. In short they are better in the sense for the layer 2 rollups.
