I have covered countless NFTs and games here in Pub0x. And there are plenty of titles left and plenty of nfts are not yet much covered. A lot of such ecosystems struggle and a lot of people who do continue to persist end up making a good amount of money. But at the end point comes for the creators and the hoarders, should you create your own or you spend years hoarding someone else's creation?
Take example of the games who list their NFTs into the opensea collections. You make some items be usable like the NFTs and then you make use of them for the game and other game internals. And you depend on consumer purchases for the power of such NFTs to rise up as the demand in the mrket rises.
If you want to earn on recurring basis and reduce the headache of the churning for gaming and also for variety of things that would require more ofyour attention and less of your actions through keyboard and mouse, then you make sure to become a creator. If you don't become creator, you become the consumer and end up churning.
This is where the part comes in where you learn to use AI tools or hire someone to build the graphics for you. And then you use that graphics as a collection to NFT. And if you have enough money, you can go ahead and make a game out of such income and then add more NFTs to earn money from. Though the sales would be random and average cheap consumer may not be able to buy the same.
Making game on your own is not easy. But if you use tools like say Gdevelop and Godot, you can make games. And if those games are simple but the ecosystem around them funds the money, that could be something you would making better game out of the same too. So I suppose what you choose to play with makes you money in such ecosystem.
Should you make game? It's upto you. Should you make NFT? definitely. Because whether you make game or dApp or something around that NFT collection, you are making NFT to make money and you have to extend as you scale your income. It's not for all. But living the consumer life for long would drain you and making NFTs and games around is the choice one has to make as they get older.
