Polygon is growing. And a lot of games seems to be saving their money deploying the game transactions on the blockchain. I know Etheruem and Solana is usually the sweetheart of the game developers. But Polygon is not lagging behind in the race. SciFi games usually however are on Ethereum for the NFT reasons. So I am not surprised that Polygon is also one choice as it's Layer 1 is still Ethereum.
So I found the Planet IX by accident. I noticed that there are some of the planet cleaning games out there on Twitter. Out of curiosity I decided to check this one out and noticed it's worth my time. OpenSea explorer has their NFT items listed which you can check in one of the tweet below.
So what is this Planet IX game? What's in it for me?
Firs thing this is one of those SciFi purist game. And you would not find much fun in the game if the SciFi is not the thing you are attempting to explore. In the base side, it's NFT strategy game around the SciFi theme. You as a player are cleaning the planet and restoring it while selling the pieces of PIX. And the token for the game internally would be $IXT which you would be trading in the marketplace. Collect the PIX and restore the planet, that's all.
You need to collect your rewards in the web3 wallet in the Polygon. You would connet the wallet for both NFTs and also for the in game rewards too. Once you are ready, you are going to be exploring the clusters and the territories around for the collection of PIX.
You can also explore the game tutorials here. Apart from that the game has been pretty much well supported with community and also has a decent SciFi theme. Now the condition about the game regarding the rewards and how long it would stay relevant, I'd say that's a burning question in blockchain gaming and we all are uncertain for this space. But we still play with what we have in hands.
