Ethereum world is on it's own journey and it does not have anything to do with other competitors. But now that is changing with the Metamask like providers extending to other cryptos. For example they recently decided to get into the bitcoin and the solana support for the wallet. 

And this happened after they were left out from the court proceedings which were against them and were asked to give the govt credentials to track the address and other transactions. So the new change is pretty cool with the support for the bitcoin and solana. 

Now comes the Metamask Card, so you can use it for the offline transactions. And there is also the local support for the payments through the metamask paymdent app. So the interesting times are going on for the ethereum world with the Metamask wallet and card. 

Metamask is getting fun. And now with the external providers allowing the Metamask and the crypto payments openly. But it also means that USA is going to experience this power of the crypto after years. Govt is allowing the people to bypass and there seems to be really good adoption drive going on in this world for the crypto.
