Layerzero is an open source permissionless interoperability protocol. The protocol is launching the native token as it is getting into the mainstream market meanwhile they also have the SYBIL attacks to manage as well. So they are kind of taking the measures on this part. It would be something they are in the process of managing as well. 

They are openly asking the people who are violating to self report or else lose the hold once the internal reviews catches them in the due process. 

Prior to this Layerzero has managed to teamup with the build on bitcoin chain too. So they are one of the new project on the build on bitcoin too. So that is one more growth for them. Prior to this they have also managed to get into the Google Cloud partnership with as well.

Lot of interesting things have happened for the layerzero and also they are now launching the tokens this year. I am sure more of the DeFi side things would be coming up from the protocol. Which goes to show there is going to be progress on the other hybrid chains as well.
