Google Payments AP2 Protocol to include Support to Stablecoins

Google has made some serious progress since the Gemini launched. Now the future is moving towards the places where the agents would be operating the platform completely and the payments too would be launching through these process. And for that to happen they have created a protocol named AP2 which is agentic protocol.

Now they have done this to work with the payment gateways and the payment processing companies to have a protocol to even include the crypto. And soon they would be adding the stablecoins support in their update. You can check github to know more from the technical side.

and they are also explaining how the protocol works and how that can be used from the platforms for implementation. You can check out the below video to know more about this. Pretty interesting stuff going on around here. It is worth checking out.

In the grand scheme as you can see the way things are working around it would be good direction that agent to agent work is going to be the norm. And this would reduce a lot of errors too. Obviously more tests and validations are to be made to see if the agents are working the right way and not causing the drama.
