GasToken : What is GAS and How It Can Be Used

Ethereum is one of the expensive network when it comes to spending the money on the tokens in a transactions. There are some amount of tokens burned in each transaction. It kind of makes things expensive when we try to trade in the ETH. So this GAS token was created in the 2017 to combat the fee situation. Though despite Ethereum network goes into the proof of stake the fees are not going down in any way.

Accounts like Project Chicago keep track on the gas price while on the Ethereum chain. And they have managed to handle most of the transactions fees that way. I have decided to check a lot of owners twitters but the token does not have their own twitter for support though.

This token's origin ways back into the NEO blockchain developers. And they seem to be handling the GAS token on their own project and making sure that the users are not paying higher price on the chain. There are lot of projects keeping an eye on when the price is higher and when it is lower. So this way gas prices are predicted. One more reason to use Optimism, Polygon or Arbitrum is the fees. You may also see immutable chain has low to no fees in some cases.

Interesting concept and if used the right way even the expenses are managed and also the platform's load with the GAS fees is managed. It's not easy and it's not cheap either but it's definitely doable.

So what was the goal of the GAS?

You are supposed to buy the GAS when the transaction fees are low. And use the GAS token to pay the price in transaction fee when the price of the transaction fee is higher. This way the transactions up and down happens and the GAS token makes sure things are in the order. So that's the goal with the blockchain and in near future hopefully GAS token becomes part of the official blockchain and they take care of the fees.
