I spent more than a month over at the Subsocial chain's grillapp. And I reached the payout at the 11K SUB. That brings around 22 USD worth of the Polkadot into the wallet. I thought I should share my views on how all that worked out. I write content at the grillapp just like I write over here at the Publish0x. I can post multiple posts on Grill but here on Pub I can only post 1 and expect to get the views and the overall slide tips. 

Currently this is the stats I have on the Polkadot's subsocial. I have 5K staked so far and rest is as shown in the figure.

How does this works? 

You add the SUB to the stakes. You earn a value for upvote. And then you use that for tipping other content creators. And this way you form a content based economy around your profile. You can also take the stakes out too but it would have cooldown period and would take days. You need to earn minimum like 12K SUB or more the better. Some people wait till 50K SUB so that they can take out like 100 or SUB. 

Where do you convert the SUB to Polkadot?

You use the hydration DEX for this. You convert Polkadot to SUB and also vice versa using the swap tool on the site. You would lose few cents and even in some case dollar too. It'd be also noted that you have to keep minimum 1 dollar in the Polkadot wallet before any transactions as they don't allow it to be withdrawn. 

How did I earned this? I used grillapp.net to post my content over there. I post both longer articles and some of the time short form. But it takes some time to earn that. Lot of people spam over there and expect to earn that does not work. So we have to think twice before voting anyone. If you are genuine content creator then go ahead and start posting and earning those SUB tokens. It'd surely help you in the earning some bills here and there.
