Layerzero chain has been slowly growing. Recently they also pushed for the airdrops and started developing their ecosystem around. Now they are adding the blockchain interoperability features too. So the bridge functionality would come into their chain and they would start developing their chain for the mainstream use cases.
Layer zero and the Initia labs has been in the partnership for the interoperability in the cosmos chain.
Layerzero is omnichain protocol and it'd be connecting multiple chains and there would be bridges being developed for each of such chains. And that means the Cosmos interoperability is kind of given in such case. In near future they would venture outside the Ethereum and other chains. Which would surely help with the chain in development.
Here the VM and the non EVM for the interoperability with the layerzero chain would be through the module. And it would not be that difficult for the chain interoperability in near future as these are module feature. However it'd be interesting to see how the other chains are getting interoperability and the connection with the layerzero.
We need ecosystem based like this which makes it easier to connect other chains. And by doing that it gets easier to have the variety of use case based designs and development. Such type of the chains we need. So that we don't need parachain and rental chain type of concept for doing things and getting work done.
