Everyone is integrating AI into their product. And this way they are making sure to control the data of the users and they can even use paywalls forever on the subs. Google and Microsoft already adding the AI to every product they own. In case of Windows 12 there is a chance there is special AI version of the product to literally own entire OS operations for user. Now Amazon wants in to this concept too and they added the AI into the alexa and wants to offer all the features. 

CNBC reported about the monthly subscription and also there seems to be a price tag of 139$. And that would be outside the context of the Prime service. So the prime users have to sign up for this sub separately. It would also mean that such sub is going to cost them some amount of credits before they can use the Alexa for proper AI usage. 

Generative AI is going to use the voice based devices like Alexa and can be used in variety of the use case. I am sure things would be super easy for many simple operations that can be done with Alexa if it makes use of the AI. I think the way things are being built it would be worth exploring the device and further the digital adoption across homes without having to stress much. 

This also means that one has to be super careful with privacy as the data would be mined very strongly by Alexa and the other devices around. Let's see where the AI integration takes people in upcoming times.
