Immigration is very much tough issue to discuss. People think govt are designed to serve them free despite not paying taxes. And so they tend to push for communist and socialist regime and stay broke forever. Ever since EU and US immigration issues are coming out many nations outside have realized that they should only give citizenship to skilled labours. Be it engineer, scientist, tech and other medical etc people.

And this also keeps the quality of the immigration. In short there would be massive chances of the similar policies used by others in the market.
