There are many bitcoin and lightning network wallets. But they are costly to maintain and manage. And many developers are kind of getting hurt with lack of growth and so they shutdown. 

BTC wallets which are designed with BTC and the lightening networks are now being shut down. And those wallets are in need of the some sort of use case and the usage scenario too. If they don’t get the community and the funding they eventually shut down.

10101 finance wallet is also in that path of the sunset. And they are closing down in the 2nd Nov. And the wallet has decided to pull off the app by the year end.

They officially announced on the twitter about the wallet shutdown. And soon every social would be closing soon as well.

It’s not easy to maintain the open source for long. And if they are maintaining it. It’d be reasonable to give them credit. And so it’d be good to congratulate them for this level of the success.

Sad to see one more wallet and service has been forced to sunset the service. Let’s hope new services take their place and work in open source continues as normal.
