WWE has signed a multi-year partnership with Blockchain Creative Labs to create a new NFT market.
The American entertainment company, known primarily for professional wrestling - WWE - has teamed up with Blockchain Creative Labs to launch a new token market. NFT's digital collections will cover iconic moments from the history of events such as Wrestlemania and SummerSlam.
WWE and NFT
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) wants to enter the NFT market and create a new token collection. This one is about wrestling, of course. It is already known that in addition to the iconic digital collection of The Rock (arguably one of the most influential WWE superstars of all time), the NFT will contain elements related to many other outstanding wrestlers.
The WWE report states that the initiative will be launched as a result of a collaboration between the wrestling organization and Blockchain Creative Labs. The former wants to celebrate the best moments of SummerSlam and Wrestlemania. These are the two most important WWE events. Scott Zanghellini - senior vice president of the entertainment company - commented on the case:
"Blockchain Creative Labs has quickly become an industry leader with an amazing executive team that understands the NFT market and its potential."

The Eluvio blockchain technology will also play a role in the WWE spots, as it will generate the entire digital collection mentioned above. Interestingly, it is an environmentally friendly blockchain protocol, which means that NFT transactions should not be the subject of controversy related to the fight for clean environment.
The planned market will serve as a hub for fans to trade, buy, sell, and store digital tokens. However, its official release date has yet to be announced.
While some consider non-convertible tokens a unique way to enter the digital asset industry, other experts, such as Joe Rogan, aren't entirely aware of what their concept is. A sports commentator, comedian and popular podcast presenter recently said he had a hard time understanding them.
Rogan stated that there is no point in spending a lot of money on a digital work of art when people can download it for free:
"Here's my problem, I can have this picture and I can have it on my phone."
On the other hand, he added that he himself is not opposed to the cryptocurrency sector, admitting that he is a digital asset keeper. However, he did not disclose what tokens he was exposed to.
