NVIDIA has announced a series of agreements with South Korean giants in the AI infrastructure race. I've compiled them for you. This visit is not just a diplomatic tour. Nvidia is connecting all the links in its AI factory ecosystem one by one:
SK Hynix
Signed a multi-year technology partnership with Nvidia. The aim is to secure the supply of advanced memory for global AI data centers. Jensen stated clearly: “SK Hynix has become, and will continue to be, Nvidia’s largest memory partner.”
SK Telecom
Will build a gigawatt-scale AI cloud in South Korea with Nvidia technology. The first AI data center is expected to be operational in 2027.
Naver
Will use Nvidia technology to build AI data centers.
Doosan
Aims to participate in Nvidia’s data center platforms with energy solutions. It will also utilize physical AI technology.
LG Group
Will work with Nvidia on the AI side for electronics, mechanical systems, and humanoid robots. Cooling, power distribution, and design are also on the table for the data centers of the future.
Hyundai Motor Group
Partnership with Nvidia is deepening in the areas of autonomous mobility, robotics, and AI-powered manufacturing. Jensen described Hyundai's AI data center plan in Saemangeum as "AI Valley."
The picture I see is this:
$NVDA is no longer just a company selling GPUs. It is positioning itself at the center of the entire ecosystem in memory, cloud, data center, robotics, automotive, energy, manufacturing, and physical AI. This is exactly what we call the AI factory. GPUs alone are not enough. Memory is needed. Energy is needed. Cooling is needed. Data center is needed. Robotics is needed. Manufacturing infrastructure is needed. Nvidia has started to touch all of these.
This is not investment advice.
