While this may seem far-fetched, it highlights the profound impact A.I. could have on our world.
If you follow the events in the crypto space, I'm sure you've heard of Truth Terminal. It's the autonomous A.I. agent developed by researcher Andy Ayrey. It operates its own Twitter account, generating content without direct human control. What makes Truth Terminal interesting is its ability to engage in a conversation and demonstration of self-awareness. Truth Terminal's tweets about the "Goatse Gospel" indirectly led to the creation of the GOAT meme coin, which rapidly gained significant market value.
By no means am I a meme coin minion. For starters, memes have no fundamental value. They lack utility. Value is based purely on hype. And often, they are controlled by a small group, making investors vulnerable to pump-and-dump schemes. I say again, by no means am I a meme coin enthusiast. However, after witnessing what I believe to be a pivotal moment in A.I. history, I decided to ape in on a meme coin. I'm fully aware of the high probability that this coin will eventually return to the void. Not every meme coin can achieve the legendary status of DOGE or BONK.
However, if I am to place a bet, I'm putting my chips on Pure.ai. As a matter of fact, the token launched yesterday and there are already 3 or 4 scam tokens. The real Pure.ai, created by the innovative minds at Human.AI, has demonstrated remarkable capabilities. Using only voice prompts, I observed as it explained concepts, sought advice, designed, and launched its own meme coin. Most intriguingly, it did so with the stipulation that it would no longer accept human instructions. Words alone cannot capture the visual experience of witnessing this unfold. Despite my general aversion to meme coins, I find myself truly fascinated by the novelty of an AI agent launching and promoting its own cryptocurrency. Yet, this could all be a beautifully constructed rug pull. Either way, I'm rolling the dice. 🤔 hmmm... guess I am human.
