The master keyword in Bitcoin history is surely “Mass adoption”. Bitcoiners think that BTC decentralized ownership could solve several problems. The more people use BTC, the more scarse it will be and value will grow. The more people use it, faster the market will adopt it as a standard payment method. The more people use it, 1 Satoshi will be 1 Satoshi.
I think mass adoption is still quite far. Nowadays there are people still didn’t hear about Bitcoin, even if restaurants track their recipes on blockchain. I think this world need a shock, something like Silkroad was in the earliest era. Any Idea?
I think we need to change our prospective. the most of us are daily using exchanges even to buy some sats. In many countries Central Governments know who you are and what you’re doing with your cryptos. Probably they are experiencing the near CBDC future they are planning for us. They show the collected data, nothing more.
But I think we are very close to a new era. Central Banks have lost a bunch of money, Legal Tenders are losing their power due to higher and higher inflation. Trading has stepped up to crypto trading and soon we will able to buy BTC derivates too. Everything is collapsing and we still think in the Fiat standard way.
Ehi ehi - please, stop reading - take 2 deep breath and close your eyes. Do it!!
Bitcoin was made to escape Government financial domination. We should stop running the easy way and start walking the right one. Self custody is the first step.
All exchanges will be soon tightened by a regulatory clamp that will cause the users to escape trying to save their crypto. They want you to use their CBDC. Your data won’t be your data anymore but let me say, this is just a human fault, it’s not a code bug. We gave away part of our privacy to easily access the cryptosphere.
We need a step further in user experience. Buying the first Satoshis is still the first mountain to climb.
We need a KYC free marketplace where buying BTC will be easy and cheap. I’m not a coder, unfortunately, and I don’t know if actually there is a way to make it possible.
Lightning node should be the tool than can solve the problem. I really don’t know, maybe I said a lot of s..t
or maybe I saw very far.
People need to make practice on spending and buying Bitcoin. If only Lightning ATMs were KYC free, cheap and worldwidespread, we were halfway.
