My "Flamen" here is the 14th addition to my Lord Series of artworks.
I started out with a rather basic Weavesilk construct:

I'd started out with a "flower" construct in the middle, as I thought maybe I'd finally have a piece I could show to Roses (another SuperRare artist that has made several top notch collaborative artworks. We've agreed a collab would be cool, but I can never seem to remember to create something interesting and forward it to them !)
Using Deep Dream Generator I generated a couple of images using different styles:

I can see a of potential in most of these, especially the last one.
Which happens to be the one I used to extract Flamen, who was nearly already in their finished form !

I then did some retouching to make it more of a "person" and less of a "person-shaped blob"

I then did some experiments with changing his eyes, but ended up focusing on the Flame itself.

I used the Hue-Chroma Color filter to change the flame's colors.
I also included the eyes themselves.

After creating a couple of differently-hued flamen heads, I duplicated some of them to have a loop, and used G'MIC-qt Morp Blending filter to create intermediary elements.
Then I converted to GIF-compatible colors, using Dithering to minimize disruption to the normal color separation.

This can only be done AFTER applying all the filters, given most filters won't work on 255 Color images, and it takes a dozen minutes or so.
But once it's done, it's relatively fast to generate a GIF and publish to SuperRare:

As usual, I'll leave it unpriced, and open to offers.
I also recently finished my entry to the cryptoNOM Toxic NOM design competition (ends this Sunday if memory serves):

Isn't he just the cutest ?
