Worth Crypto faucets

Are crypto faucets worth your time?

As a newbie in crypto market you would want to buy as many coins as you want, but then you observe that even if you buy more and more, your wallet is going down as soon as the market crashes. Despite the fact that you read a lot and you try to follow people in this domain, you notice that the market is not following their predictions. Then you find out that you may earn some coins by spending time while watching ads, filling surveys or other similar small tasks. You can do these tasks while using crypto faucets.

After the first crash that I’ve experienced as a player in the crypto market in May 2021, I’ve started to use every day crypto faucets since the prices were very low for plenty of the projects. So I’ve considered that I can earn more coins while using the faucets. But after a few months I’ve noticed that what I’ve earned was very low. And my question was if it is worth to spend my time in order to earn few dollar cents or maybe 1-2 dollars per day!? On the other hand, I could spend that time in order to be more productive and earn more money while doing my freelancer tasks, either as a content writer, travel guide or cartographer.

In September and October 2021 I’ve counted the time spent while using crypto faucets such as Horizen Faucet, Faucet Crypto, Auto Faucet or Pipe Flare. And I’ve realized that in the time spent to complete tasks to earn crypto currency I could earn more money while achieving some of my working tasks. During November and December 2021 I didn’t use any faucet, except Horizen Faucet, since I consider that Horizen may be a project having an interesting future.

At the end of those two months when I didn’t use faucets to earn crypto, I realized that no matter the price of the coins that I could earn while using crypto faucets, I’m able to buy those coins without having a great financial effort. Based on that, I’ve decided that I will use crypto faucets only if I get bored. Instead of using crypto faucets I prefer to take fresh air and to relax, while becoming more inspired to be more efficient while doing my tasks bringing income. In this way I can invest more money in crypto in the future and I feel that my time is more valuable than few cents or a few dollars per hour. Moreover, a crypto faucet could be a place where you can infect your computer with malware programs and viruses, as I did a few months ago when my Exodus wallet has been hacked by malware software able to steal coins from the wallet.

It is true that a crypto faucet can be a good place to start with crypto if you don’t want to invest at the beginning, as you may start also having a Coinbase account where you can earn for free crypto currencies while learning about different projects. Also it may be productive if you have thousands of referrals who may bring an important amount of earnings from faucets. On the other hand, as soon as you have the money and the decision to invest in this market, I consider that it is much better to spend your time to be productive and get income, instead of spending hours using different apps or web pages to gain crypto from faucets.

Concluding, for me crypto faucets were an experience at the beginning of my journey in crypto market. As soon as the amounts of coins while using crypto faucets will remain at extremely low values, I will not use those faucets, choosing instead to focus on activities that make me feel that my time is precious and valuable.
