I am writing this post because still many are picking shitcoins like Doge as a long-term investment. I am not gonna say which projects you should invest in or not. But this is my personal view on shitcoins. The reason I am writing it today is because I came across an article about Barry Silbert's views on Dogecoin. Following is his views in short.
Barry Silbert, the CEO of Digital Currency Group, says that he believes "Dogecoin (DOGE) has staying power".
But the head of the crypto-focused venture capital firm highlights that "Dogecoin, which currently ranks as the seventh-largest crypto asset, is trading above its fair value".
So in short Dogecoin is not going away soon as it has one of the most passionate investors.
But in my personal opinion, if you are looking to invest in Dogecoin or any other shitcoins for that matter for the long-term in mind by only considering the price actions as of right now, I think you are making a huge mistake. Shitcoins will eventually die out and become just a memory. You can of course trade it now for the fun of it and become a part of the history. But you don't need worthless coins for that. You can invest in projects that really solve problems, projects that serve a purpose. Crypto is the future, and if you are the few of the first to try it out, I think that is remarkable in itself.
