What is Divi Project?

Divi Project proof-of-stake coin aimed "to make popular cryptocurrencies easier to use so that both people and businesses will adopt them in mass. The focus of this coin is to be more user-friendly compare to other coins, faster transactions, less expensive, and with a special focus on eliminating user error".

The initial coin offering has successfully run from October 27 to November 24, 2018. Which raised up to 2,000,000 USD (around 5,000 ETH). The team proudly claims that it is looking to replace exchanges like Paypal or Venmo.

Staking

For those unfamiliar with staking, this is equivalent to mining in BTC, ETH and all proof-of-work coins. While proof-of-work (POW) is not energy-efficient, proof-of-stake (POS) is very energy efficient thereby making POS coins very accessible to new miners who does not own mining machine.

Staking can be easily be done through the Divi Project wallet, if you buy Divi on exchanges, send them to your wallet to start earning from stakes. For as long as the wallet is open (unlocked) and connected to the internet it will be earning stakes. Staking from the wallet is best suited when security is concerned.

Online staking through stackofstake and it has the advantage of not keeping the wallet open and connected to the internet. Although, this is not as secure as staking from the wallet, stackofstake offers advantages like you can stake different POW coins it featured.

Masternode

For advance users, masternode earns more than staking for running a node. It is also done through the wallet but requires to set-up Virtual Private Server (VPS), this VPS is ideal in keeping masternode running to keep the Divi network running. Also, there are different masternode that can be chosen as stated below which making Divi Project unique from other masternodes.

• Silver: 300,000 DIVI (+5%)
• Gold: 1,000,000 DIVI (+10% )

Masternode is so important because it perform other important functions for the Divi Project blockchain and keeping it secure by communicating other nodes within the network.
