Continuing with my series of ways to make free internet money, today I will be talking about BasisOS project from Virtuals. What Exactly is BasisOS and how does DeFAI work?

If this is the first time you are hearing about BasisOS let me put it simply how I will explain this to a 10 year old who will have a comprehension level pretty close to me. 

Basis is the biggest DeFAI project on Virtuals and probably one of the first as well, it is definitely the first DeFAI project I got to know about. Yes, usually I am pretty slow in picking up new technologies.

Before going further it will be prudent on my side to talk briefly about what exactly is this DeFAI. In a nutshell it is you standard DeFI (this stands for Decentralised finance in case you are a total noob) which was the craze during last crypto cycle and is the preferred mode of parking capital for the crypto whales so they can earn sweet returns on their idle coins.

How DeFAI aims to take DeFI to the next level of craziness can be best explained by the diagram below. It shows that a regular crypto user has various DeFI options available to him like leveraged trading of Hyperliquid or using liquidity options on Uniswap. The pink box shows the AI magic that helps come up with dynamic strategies so your funds can be used most effectively according to which platform is offering the best return at that time.

Their site is already running and developments are happening at steady rate. 

What is the Mindshare Mining program?

You must have seen that Kaito has launched a new era across the crypto community which shows the value of capturing the attention of users. 

BasisOS is running a mindshare mining program where you get rewarded in their native $BIOS tokens for spreading awareness about BasisOS project. This program is going to run till end of July so still some weeks to go.

Why am I Bullish Long Term on BasisOS?

There are several reasons why I planning to accumulate as much $BIOS as I can get my hands on:

• Virtual OG- BasisOS is one of the oldest Genesis projects launched successfully on Virtuals in April this year. Once the market improves I expect the OG projects that are doing well to get the max attention from new liquidity coming into the market. 
• Strong MarketCap- FDV of BasisOS was about $30M few weeks back and is now forming a strong support at $9M. This makes it much safer option compared to the smaller $1M range projects which might not recover even when the market is better.
• Product Rollouts- While most Genesis projects are yet to deploy any actual tangible products, BasisOS has already launched it’s portal with the DeFAI Vaults and more offerings in the pipeline.
