I know that many tried to solve the universal income problem. It was even a town in Canada, if i am not mistaken, where everyone had some form of income paid, irrelevant to the amount of work they did. Interesting enough, in there, everybody worked even harder, and almost 95% of they did not slack around. Now, probably Canada is different, but if they would do this in my country, you would probably have a whole town sitting and doing nothing. Just my point of view.
