I was chatting with some friends tonight, and I started to remember how it was 3-4 years ago. Everything was much more simpler, even life. We had only 3 cryptocurrencies to use: BTC, LTC and ETH. I know, in theory there were few more, but nobody was using them. Except maybe Dogecoin that was used for tips on chat and to send Jamaica’s bobsled team to Olympic Games.
This was what a good computer could mine in less than a week, if i remember correctly.
ETH randomly bought when is was £45.
ETH sold at £184, making 4 times the money. Shortly after, i think in 3 months time, reached all high, around £1000
Litecoin just appeared on Coinbase. Quite high price after the Coinbase effect. Around £24.
Proud of myself, some Litecoin sold all high. £281 was a good price to sell. I only sold 2 of them, i still Hodl the rest.
And some time, long ago, when you could buy more than one BTC quite easily. I do not have older records, as at the time before Coinbase you would buy Bitcoin from 40 years old gamers, after you will send money via bank transfer in advance. Somebody usually will vouch for their guy, before you bought your Bitcoin from them. And they would get like 5% reward for this. I think i use to buy Bitcoins (like 10-20 at the times) around 2012-2013. Too bad i use them to play stuff like Game of Birds. Check this cool link from 2015. Actually i think i even sold some Bitcoins to the guy who made the game, Christian Moss (used to have an email like mandelduck or something similar). Huh, the game still exists, i will check later to see if i have anything left there.
Oh, the memories, that's all that i got, everything else was sold, much too early.
