I assume that you know cryptocurrency Waves or at least have heard something about it. It is a huge ecosystem, that allows users many features.
This project started in 2016 by Sasha Ivanov. Recently, Alexander Ivanov shared his plans for the development of the project in 2021 and they are grandiose!
The main focus will be on the scaling of DeFi applications, as well as on the safety of users' assets and the efficiency of liquidity. Based on the Swop.fi liquidity protocol, it is planned to issue a governance token and loan pools next year. Will be developed new directions for decentralizing finance (insurance, voting, forecasting etc). More attention will be paid to the creation of synthetic assets linked to cryptocurrencies and stock indices. Waves users will be able to trade shares of major global companies on their platform. Also, Mr. Ivanov plans to focus on research in the field of DAO.
