To calculate expected earnings, I use a calculator Rollercoin designed specifically for RollerCoin. There are quite a few out there, but this particular one is the most accurate. 

Why does this matter?

The key is knowing exactly how much income you will generate within a specific league and how that changes as your power increases. When increasing your power, you must be careful not to exceed the league's upper limits; if you move up to a new league while your power is still too low, your earnings will actually drop.

For example:

LEAGUE: SILVER II — Power: 499 PH/s — Earnings: 4.4

LEAGUE: PLATINUM I — Power: 49 EH/s — Earnings: 4.38

This clearly demonstrates that raw power isn't everything!

It is important to realize that even at the start of the game, you can generate passive income comparable to that of players who have been active for years. You need to understand the logic behind your strategy and stick to it strictly. Most importantly, realize that miner power isn't the whole story. While moving up to a higher league offers a wider selection of coins to mine, you can start by mining more accessible coins.

This calculator also provides information on minimum withdrawal thresholds, current coin exchange rates, and estimates of how long it will take to accumulate enough of a specific coin to make a withdrawal.
