Ripple, which exactly wanted to become a blockchain-based payment platform, recently made several announcements at its annual conference, Swell, related to a variety of payment needs to solve the problems of businesses. Ripple payments are the solution. It integrates liquidity options with the XRP Ledger's native DEX.
Is Ripple ready?
Ripple first obtained money transfer licences from various US jurisdictions and also obtained permission from authorities in different countries, like Singapore and the UAE. According to the company, Ripple Payments offers a 24x7x36 payment system to over 70 overseas payment markets and is able to reach 100%.
RocketFuel becomes the first customer
Rocketfuel, a payment solutions provider for merchants, is the first customer of Ripple Payments. RocketFuel sends or accepts payments via crypto or fiat as per requirements. Rocketfuel CEO Peter Jensen has acknowledged ripple payments as a solution to its problems. Other firms might also join if this attempt succeeds.
