Crypto.com and AFL deal objected by Gambling platform

By Yugocean | Crypto Champion | 20 Jan 2022

The Australian Football League (AFL) has confirmed a $25m five-year agreement with cryptocurrency firm Crypto.com, making Crypto.com the official cryptocurrency exchange and trading platform for the AFL and AFLW (AFL Women).

The deal has expanded the trading space of Crypto.com. However, as we know there is always objection by someone whenever crypto is supported in some way; this deal also has been objected.

The objection comes from not a government or Banking agency, but by "Alliance for Gambling Reform", the institution's chief advocate, Tim Costello, described the deal "dubious" and "unethical", doubting the AFL's history with sports betting.

Anyway, this agreement gives cryptocurrency a complete platform in the football field of Australia.
