Balaji placed this wager with James Medlock, (a pseudo Twitter personality) who bet $1 million that there would be no hyperinflation in the US. Balaji then placed a $1 million bet on Bitcoin's hyperinflation-related rise reaching $1 million in 90 days. Afterwards a bet of 1 BTC from James Medlock and 1 M USDC from Balaji was nade.
