I Made a Mistake. I Sold My Bitcoin Too Early

By Danyal khan | crypto-calm | 29 Jun 2026

I sold my Bitcoins in 2022.

The market crashed. The charts were all red. I freaked out.

I believed it would become worth nothing.

And so I sold. All of it.

Some time later, Bitcoins started rising again. I observed from the sidelines.

This was agonizing to observe.

I told myself I would get back in at the next dip. But the dips weren't big enough.

So I kept waiting. And waiting.

While the price kept rising.

Now looking back, I wonder why I sold.

My thoughts were unclear. I panicked.

Fear can make people do stupid things.

I learned my lesson.

Now I no longer panic and sell during the crash. Instead, I just hold on.

If I had done that, I could have earned even more profits.

But I did not. And the fault lies on me.

So if you think of selling now while everything is red?

Close your app.

Take a walk.

Return after a month.

You'll thank yourself.

I wish I had done the same.
