Back in the 19th century. Starting from 1897 until 1899, masses of people gradually migrated to Klondike Yukon upon hearing news that local miners have found Gold the previous year ! Newspapers reported: some early prospectors brought home the equivalent of $700.000 in Gold nuggets! - Gold traded at $20 back in 1896, today's price is $1625.

Near to 100.000 Prospectors tried to reach the recently found heaven. On their route a full economy sprung. Ships were built and boosted to respond to the high demand on transport, the trading business was at its best, towns popped all along the road to the goldfields, reporters, writers, and photographers all had some hot content to spread, even politicians...

From the 100 thousand people, only 30 to 40 thousand has actually made it to the mines, amongst them only few have actually found gold and become wealthy, the remaining majority lost their time and resources in vain!
Although many people weren't in this rush to mine gold at all, they've been running businesses providing supplies and various services to miners. Many of them had made good money, and some made crazy money out of this!

It pops to the mind that the Klondike Gold Rush isn't too different from the current "Cryptocurrency Rush", where people are no more panning for gold nuggets but seeking the next hidden crypto gem or the next pump; Trying to get rich after hearing that early prospectors (adopters) made insane fortunes buying Bitcoin and other coins, or even meme tokens at the right time.

Probably some of the readers here are amongst the few successful in this quest! So if you are one of them, yes You, please tap on your shoulder as you have achieved what the majority of cryptonauts can only fantasize about! For the remaining majority, me equally. All of us who are not making it, yet! and I know we are not few, let us not be consumed by the frustration we are causing to ourselves by seeing cryptos and the Blockchain technology from the narrow angle of fast enrichment! And let us not get blurred by our hopes to magically resolve our financial issues with a simple click , as this is crucial to be able to see this great technology as it really is: its the technology creating tools that can make our everyday life easier, in so many aspects.

Actually, following the analogy to the gold rush, the rising blockchain tech has created plenty of opportunities other than just buying coins and tokens.. Web, mobile and smart contract developers, community building personnel , marketers, content creators , artists, lead generators, management tools providers, are some of the highly profitable parties in this blockchain revolution..
And at the end more jobs can be created when people will start to focus on the blockchains use cases rather than charts, even if it doesn't appear as much exciting! It's a whole new universe that is being created for humanity and it is needing real and honest users who can see the value of the services created, and find ways to use them profitably.
