Hello fellow billionaires.

Last month was intense and the tension has not fallen off yet, but it soon will. I hope you do not mind if I rant a bit. 

Firstly, we are launching a new product - remotely readable water meter which is fully battery powered and is supposed to work 12+ years while sending daily consumption readings to the server. Vendor agreements, first delivery and technical difficulties have taken its toll on the team as a whole. But the first couple of thousand devices are dispatched and being installed as you read it.

Secondly organised a seminar on the topic of smart cities. God, if you think cryptoworld is full of buzzwords, empty statements and people full of themselves. Think twice, they’re everywhere. The longer and louder you speak the more people give attention to you. The seminar went really well and I got good feedback from the customers. I’ve taken it to my heart to educate customers to my best knowledge beside the “smart” buzzwords. Thirdly, I successfully defended my master thesis. Fyea, that was an interesting journey but I’m glad that it’s over. Topic of the thesis is “Impact of flexibility services on commercial, residential and industrial use-cases, case study”. If you’re interested in this topic as well leave ++ in the comments.

Last couple of months has shown me that while I may choose to follow the path of crypto bullies, the real battle is inner. Prioritization between tasks and leisure is a must. I feel that I have yet to learn a lot within personal time and task management. 

Besides ranting around I wanted to share a new project which I found just recently and which motivated me to write another post. 

Lightyear is a new player on the market of trading. As with many others they promote themselves as no fees trading app. Now we all have seen commercials from eToro promising the same and later getting disappointed.

Right now the project is in a super early stage so I can’t guarantee whether they will have fees or not. But knowing that founders are with a background of TransferWise so I would say the project is rather legit. I’ve joined the waiting list to be the first once they’ve open up
