Greetings fellow Billionaires. Summer has arrived in Estonia, but we will continue to work and study until we do not have to wait for summer to go on vacation. This post will give you an overview of online training on Blockchain.
Last year I enrolled into a program called Blocks Summer School. At first it was meant to be held as a set of lectures and practices in Romania, but then you know Covid hit the world so it was postponed indefinitely. The workshop was designed to bring together scientific researchers, professionals and entrepreneurs to discuss the development and to catalyze the networking in the field of Blockchain and to facilitate rapid understanding, Blockchain use cases and business potential. The same concept is now being held fully online during the course of the following month.
Program is split into 6 modules:
- Introduction
- Basics of Blockchain
- 6 live trainings
- Digital transformation
- 3 live trainings
- Blockchain Industry use-cases
- 12 live trainings
- A conversation on Trust and Trustless
- The BLOCKS Survival Game Project
My personal motivation relies on the interest in technology itself and as I come from the IoT industry I believe there are common topics to delve upon. Today was the introductory lecture. Based on the first impression I would say I didn’t get anything new, but I definitely felt the atmosphere that there is more to take than the eye catches at first glance.
The project itself - BLOCKS is a platform created in the “Blockchain for Entrepreneurs - a non-traditional Industry 4.0 curriculum for Higher Education” project. Funded in 2018 by Erasmus+ Programme as a Strategic Partnership Project (2018-1-RO01-KA203-049510), BLOCKS creates a networked platform of collaboration on curriculum development for universities and companies in Romania, Italy, Latvia, Estonia and Greece to develop non-traditional, blended-learning courses, tailored for an Industry 4.0 world, focused on providing teachers, students and entrepreneurs with knowledge and skills on the blockchain.
As today was the very first lecture, I will keep you updated!
