What Are Compressed NFTs?
Compressed NFTs are basically NFTs that take a very little storage and for that reason it reduces the cost of renting the storage space so this can be very attractive option for those who are looking to implement NFTs in their businesses. Here is a list of potential business types e.g: Event ticketing, Collectibles, Digital art, Loyalty programs, DePIN
I won't be going into details how this works because there are plenty of well written articles about it, but if you want to find out in more details how this works here is the link: Compressed NFTs
Do The Compress NFTs make Solana The Best Blockchain For Business?
In my view this Solana could become go to blockchain for businesses where a large amount of NFTs is being minted, especially for tickets to live events and gaming. It is no secret that Solana has already been a popular blockchain for game developers, but will it pick up for events ticketing?
Currently Solana has been overshadowed with fud around FTX and that is basically what cased it the biggest setback, there were a lot of downtimes on Solana, but that is to be expected since Solana is still in Beta! I guess a lot of people didn't realized that when laughing at Solana for it's downtime...
The last major outage was in January of this year.
That gives Solana 8 months without incident. They should naturally be improving leading to Main net launch. Solana Should start to recover once all the FTX fiasco is completely over and all is settled for good! The current price is at 19.32 at the time of writing and I'd say the price should not go below $16 regardless of the FTX.
Would FTX be selling their SOL at such low price, well, if they are forced to pay creditors then yes and lets not forget Solana is far from its ATL of $0.50 (according to Coingecko and CoinMarketCap) On the other hand, the creditors might also see value in Solana and request Sol tokens instead, maybe?
Also, at this point is worth to mention that Solana is back in the Top 10 Coins!
All the Best,
Aventurine!
