Trading #cryptocurrencies can be a very rewarding experience. Right now the cryptosphere is exploding with new tech, new coins, and you may find yourself in a perfect position to nab bonuses from different cryptocurrency exchanges.

You can use these freebies to help jumpstart your crypto journey or hold on to them(#HODL!) and see how much they will be worth years from now.

Why are there so many cryptocurrency platforms?

Not all coins are listed in one exchange. As much as it would’ve been convenient to find them all in one application, some platforms are more rigorous in filtering tokens that they will vet and support.

This is particularly good since it will help protect new investors in the crypto space.

Right now, the two giant exchanges are Coinbase and Binance.

Coinbase

Coinbase is probably the most user-friendly of all the exchanges, especially for beginners in crypto trading. They have a simple user-interface that’s easy to understand and most of the coins listed on their platform have been thoroughly checked to ensure they are legitimate projects.

Furthermore, Coinbase ($COIN) has recently been listed on the NASDAQ which further strengthens its position as the leading crypto exchange platform.

Here’s a video tutorial on how to use Coinbase.

Binance

Binance is another big name in the crypto space. Like Coinbase, they also have a rigorous vetting process and the coins that get listed on the Binance platform skyrockets in price most of the time (if not all the time). Residents in the US may have difficulty accessing this platform (though not impossible), they do offer a US version of the application — Binance.US.

Here’s a quick peek and tutorial on how to use Binance.

Now let’s talk rewards.

Here are the different cryptocurrency exchanges and the rewards that they offer to new users who sign up.

$10 in Bitcoin Rewards

These are great exchanges that offer $10 in Bitcoin rewards just by signing up and using their platform.

  1. Coinbase
  2. Uphold
  3. OKEx
  4. BlockFi — This is more of a Crypto bank than an exchange where you will earn up to 10% APY (annual percentage yield) on your deposited cryptocurrency like Bitcoin.

20–40% Rebates and Bonuses

The following exchanges offer rebates, discounts in trading fees and other sorts of bonuses in their own respective platforms just by signing up.

These rebates are particularly useful as they add up the more you trade. You may also find out that some of the tokens you’re looking to buy are only available in one of these platforms.

  1. Binance
  2. Huobi
  3. Gate.io
  4. KuCoin

  7. PantherSwap — A defi trading platform for experienced traders.
